Nick Cooper is a qualified chartered surveyor with over 35+ years of industry experience in real estate investment management including assisting many institutional clients from around the world to create and manage their real estate strategies.
Today he acts as advisor to a number of companies including Savills IM, where he chairs their global executive committee with particular emphasis on the strategic direction of the business. He also works with E3 Capital Partners in Hong Kong whose principle business lines include self storage in Hong Kong .
Prior to this he was a main board director of The Townsend Group, one of the world’s largest real estate consultants and advisors, and where he was member of its global investment committee. As part of this role he worked in both London and the mid-west United States.
Before joining Townsend, Nick was CEO and founder of ING Real Estate Select, ING’s global multimanager business (now CBRE GIP), as well as a member of ING Real Estate’s Global Board.
He is a former Chairman of the Association of Real Estate Property Funds a UK industry trade body.
Graduate in Economics and Quantitative analysis, Serge has 35 years’ experience in Asset Management & Research, as well as client facing, and 25 years in management sizeable teams, including at CEO level. After having spent a year as an auditor, Serge joined Lombard Odier as a research analyst on the Japanese market. He became Head of Research in 1994 and Head of Asset Management & Research in 1999. He was in charge of more than 200 staff located in Geneva, Zürich, Amsterdam, London, Montreal and Honk-Kong. His team was managing both institutional and private money across all type of mandates and asset classes, including sectorial specialized funds, notably in the life science and technology domains. He also opened the Tokyo office, a marketing hub to develop Private Clients.
He then joined UBS in 2001 as Managing Director within a team whose mission statement had been to build the « Family Business Group », a center of competence taking care of UHNW clients worldwide, which was renamed key clients later on. In 2005, he was appointed CEO of Merrill Lynch Bank (Suisse) S.A. His mandate was to design and implement a growth strategy for Institutional and Private Clients with a focus on the Swiss onshore market. He revamped the whole management functions, structure and organization to support the growth plans. In 2010, he joined Gonet & CIE SA, a Swiss Private Bank, as a Managing Partner.
Daniel is one of the founders of AB Alternative SICAV-SIF European Real Estate fund, focused on commercial real estate located in Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Italy. He joined Arab Bank (Switzerland) Ltd. in 2014 and is heading the Asset Management department and AB Real Estate team.
Daniel is a CFA charterholder with more than 20 years of experience in asset management during which he managed several investment funds. He held various asset management positions at UBS Investment Bank in Geneva, Mizuho Financial Group in Zurich and HSBC Asset Management in London.
Pierre-Marie started his career in 2010 at Royal Bank of Scotland in the coverage team in London and Paris, taking care of different corporate finance projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, bond issues, and acquisition financing. After three years, he set up with two partners a regulated investment fund in Luxembourg offering alternative investments to qualified investors. He then pursued his entrepreneurial activities into advising investors in their acquisitions. In 2016, he joined CACEIS to take care of institutional clients and moved to Switzerland. Before joining Arab Bank (Switzerland) Ltd, he worked for a year in a private equity boutique, advising HNWI and Family Offices in their private equity investments. Pierre-Marie holds and MSc in Risk and Asset Management from EDHEC Business School in Lille and Nice.
Samiel is a Corporate Manager with more than 25 years of experience in private equity and real estate in Luxembourg. She joined AB Real Estate Investment S.à r.l. (Luxembourg) and AB Real Estate Team in January 2020. Before joining the team, she worked for 14 years with IQEQ Luxembourg, a global provider of investment funds, corporate and private wealth management services. She was responsible for the handling of the day-to day legal, corporate and administrative tasks pertaining to the Luxembourg companies as well as for the coordination and acquisitions/sales of real estate.
Gauthier started his career in 2011 at Crédit Foncier Immobilier in the Residential Team in Paris where he was responsible for pricing residential buildings and presenting strategic recommendations for institutional investors. Then he joined AEW Europe in 2012 consecutively in Paris and in London, working on several Investment and Fund Management projects.
In 2014 he moved back to Paris and started at LaSalle Investment Management in the Fund Management Team as Portfolio Manager. He occupied this position for five years. There, he successfully contributed to the final divestment of a multi-sector opportunistic Fund and then moved into the position of Portfolio Manager looking after two Pan-European Core/Core + Funds and managing a portfolio of over €600m of AUM.
Before joining Arab Bank, he worked for a year in a consultancy boutique, advising on financial modelling and real estate investments. Gauthier holds a Master’s in Real Estate Management from the University of Paris – Dauphine, and a Master’s in Management with a concentration in Finance from the EDHEC Business School. He is a member of RICS.
Simon started his career in 2014 at KPMG as an auditor in the financial services industry, where he performed financial statements and process audits for major international banks and asset managers. Before joining Arab Bank (Switzerland) Ltd, he worked four years at EY as a financial advisor for real estate investment funds. He assisted his real estate clients in multiple aspects of their financial reporting, risk management, cash flows forecasting, and financial modeling. His portfolio covered the entire spectrum (Core, Core+, Value-add, Opportunistic) and categories (Offices, Logistics, Build-to-rent).
Simon hold a Master’s in Management, majoring in Finance and Accounting from Neoma Business School. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He is currently following a RICS accredited MSc in real estate management and investment from Edinburgh Napier University.
Samir has 20 years sales experience at Nikko Bank and Citigroup/Contributed to the launch of the Japan/Asia desk at Citigroup. He has a fund advisory experience with a CTA (Efficient Diversified Fund) and a Commodity fund (MetalEnergy Fund). He also has a 7 years hedge fund management experience on Asia/Japan with a private company (Event driven strategy). Samir has also served as a marketing manager and business developer at Probus Funds (Japanese, Russian, Asian and Mekong funds). Samir holds a Certified European Financial Analyst diploma (CFPI), and a Certified ESG analyst Diploma. He is fluent in French, English and Arabic.
Arnauld started his career in 2014 at FundQuest Advisor, the fund selection specialist of BNP Paribas Asset Management, where he performed various fund due diligences and sat at the model portfolio investment committee. In 2015, he joined Arab Bank (Switzerland) Ltd. as an Investment Advisor for UHNW clients, responsible for the structured products and arbitrage/derivatives business. Then, in 2018, he moved to the Asset Management Department, where he is in charge of the Discretionary Mandates and co-manages UCITS funds and a Swiss Pension Fund. Since 2020, he supervises the Treasury operations of AB Alternative SICAV SIF. Arnauld holds a Master degree in Finance from ESSEC Business School (Paris) and is a CFA and CMT Charterholder.
Thibaut is a real estate developer. In 2017, he started his professional career in Canada with VINCI Group. Next he returned to Europe at VINCI in France, where he was involved in overseeing large-scale mixed-use real estate projects.
Thibaut joined Steiner in 2020 as a project manager in real estate development, with the goal of developing mixed-use buildings throughout Western Switzerland. He successfully established a new regional entity, simultaneously advancing projects in various cantons. Among these ventures is MixCity-Renens, one of the projects Thibaut developed and which was subsequently acquired by ABS.
Thibaut joined the team at ABS in July 2023 as portfolio manager. He holds a Master in engineering and real estate from ESTP in Paris and a degree in real estate investment from Kedge Business School.
